§  No School on Friday, May 16^th

§  No ASP on Thursday, May 15^th

§  Elementary School Track Meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 15^th at 12:30pm. 

Ms. Coy’s 2/3 grade class will have a concession stand during the meet with refreshments and snacks available for purchase.  Concession stand proceeds will go towards the Playground Renovation Fund.

§  5^th & 6^th Grade Band Concert will be held Thursday, May 15^th at 7:00pm in the High School Auditorium.

§  THS Student Council Donut Fundraiser Donuts from ScrumDiddilyUmptious of Spokane are available to order until May 19^th for $12/dozen. Orders may be placed in the office.

§  Fall Youth Soccer Registration forms available on the back of the newsletter and in the office. Completed forms can be returned to the Morrison Elementary office.

§  ASP Talent Show Auditions will be held on Tuesday, May 20^th during PE classes.

§  Science Fair – Thursday, May 22^nd. Open to parents/public from 3:30 – 5:00pm.

§  Swimming Lesson Registration forms available in the office. Please fill out and return to the office or mail to Troy Parks and Recreation by Friday, June 6.  Late forms will not be accepted.  Children must turn 5 by July 7, 2014.

§  Egg Drop and Family Fun Night is scheduled for Thursday, May 29^th

§  Parents of upcoming Kindergarteners - Teachers and researchers at UM developed a series of learning modules that you can receive via email. There are a total of 10 modules and the purpose of them is to assist you in teaching your child early literacy skills. Parents have found these to be very easy to use and children find the activities fun and exciting. They do not take a lot of time but they are full of useful tips, activities and other free educational resources are made available to you. Please contact the office for more information.

§  Elementary Tennis for grades K-6 will be offered June 2^nd -5^th from 3:45 - 4:45pm. Please wear tennis shoes and bring a racquet if you have one.

§  Volleyball Camp for 5^th & 6^th graders on June 9^th – 11^th held at Libby High School. Registration forms are available in the office.  The cost is $55.00.
