§  3rd Quarter Awards Assembly on Friday, April 11 at 1:00pm.
§  Troy Youth Baseball/Softball registration forms are available.  Please return to the office by Monday, April 14.
§  No Lego Robotics on Wednesday, April 9 or Thursday, April 10
§  No Cloverbuds on Thursday, April 10
§  4-H Club Meeting Thursday, April 10 at 5:30pm at the Methodist Church.
§  Running Club – Morrison Elementary is starting a Spring Running Club.  Students can walk and/or run laps during their recess times and we will keep track for them.  There will be a prize awarded at mile markers 5, 10, 20, etc.  We will have a special Assembly at the end of the year to acknowledge their accomplishments.  For more details, please contact Ms. Higgins at 295-4321 or jhiggins.elem@gmail.com
§  Earth Day Clean-Up – We will be celebrating Earth Day on April 22nd (the day after Easter break). Classes will be heading out into the community in the afternoon to pick up trash.  The school will provide a glove and bag for each student.  We are looking for parent/adult volunteers to help. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the office or your child’s teacher.  We hope to have at least 3 parents per class. Everyone will come back to the school for special Earth Day treats on the playground by 3pm.
§  Poster Contest sponsored by the Lincoln Conservation District.  The contest theme is “DIG DEEPER – Mysteries in the Soil.”  Entry deadline is April 22. Please contact the office or your child’s teacher for more information.
§  Annual Scholarship Breakfast on Tuesday, April 22 from 6:30 – 8:30am at the Troy Methodist Church. ALL YOU CAN EAT!!! Students $4.00  Adults $6.00
Menu includes breakfast burritos, pancakes, hash browns, milk, juice, and coffee.
§  Lincoln County Poetry Contest – In recognition of National Poetry Month, all county residents are invited to submit poems.  The contest is open until Tuesday, April 22 and poems may be dropped off at the public library.
§  Montana 4-H is looking for families to host students from Japan.  For more information please contact the office at 295-4321.
