Morrison News

There will be a 4H Meeting on Thursday, December 1st @ 5:30 pm at the Methodist Church.

The Annual 4H Xmas Bazaar will be held on December 3rd in the Morrison gym. 9am-4pm

Marina Weatherly, a Native American Educator, will be here next week providing Indian Education Workshops for our students. There will be an assembly on Friday, December 9th at 1:00 pm in the gym

The Morrison Elementary Christmas Program will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 6:30 pm in the Activities Center. Please bring a canned food item for the food pantry

Please bring in your burned out light bulbs to the office for the After School Program Christmas art project. You can exchange your old bulbs for an energy efficient bulb donated by Northern Lights. There is 2 bulb limit per family

Schweitzer Lift Tickets for night skiing available in the Morrison Elementary office. Tickets are $8 each and good for ANY Twilight Ski Night at Schweitzer. Twilight Schedule: 3-7 pm (Idaho time) Friday and Saturday nights starting in January, some blackout dates apply.

EARLY OUT ~ Tomorrow, November 22nd

NO SCHOOL ~ Wednesday-Friday, November 23rd-25th

Christmas Kickoff, Saturday, November 26th. Meet at the Town Christmas Tree @ 4:45, Caroling at 5 pm, Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa Claus visit @ 7 pm. Free Hot Chocolate and Cookies. There will be Pictures with Santa, $6 for a 5x7. Donations accepted for Christmas Tree Improvements.

4th-6th Grade Girls Volleyball starts Monday, November 28th in the Morrison Gym. Practice will be Mondays-Thursdays, November 28th thru December 20th, 3:35-4:45 pm

If you would like to be involved with The Give a Helping Hand Christmas Program, please contact Fran Stanton @ 295-4542 by November 30th

The 6th grade class will be going to a performance of The Nutcracker in Libby on Friday, December 2nd at 12:30 pm at the Little Theatre

Jr. High Boys Basketball

6th grade boys are invited to join the Jr. High Boys Basketball team this year. Interested players need to sign up by Friday in Mrs. Hammer's room. The coach, Mr. Lizotte will contact players over the weekend and let them know what time practice starts on Monday, November 21st.

The Kindergarten Food Drive is going on NOW! Donations for the Troy Food Pantry can be made in the Kindergarten room until Friday, November 18th.

Thanksgiving Dinner will be served in the Morrison cafeteria on Friday, November 18th. Family members are welcome to join students for lunch. Adult lunch price is $3 and may be paid in the office. Lunch will be served starting at 11:15 for K-2 and 11:45 for 3-6.

The After School Program is collecting burned out light bulbs for a Christmas art project. Old bulbs can be donated at the office and exchanged for an energy efficient bulb donated by Northern Lights. Only two new bulbs per household, please.
