· Our interventionist, Ms. Jennifer Higgins, has set up a mentoring program between high school and elementary students. Next, she will broaden this program to involve mentors from the community. As part of our fledgling character education program, several community members were involved in reading to students during Anti-Bullying Week. Community members will continue to be invited to read to students as we implement our character education program. During the month of December, we are targeting the character trait: Kindness. Ms. Higgins has also been working with students and families needing assistance in improving attendance.
